A message from Motion Connected, the host of our Thrive Rewards platform.

We are excited to announce the release of our “new” Motion Connected version 4.0.0 app!  It’s still the app you have come to love but better!  Remember the MC Link app for Apple Health and Google Fit users?  Well it’s time to say goodbye!  By upgrading to version 4.0.0, there is no need to use MC Link as the Motion Connected app will now pull data directly from Apple Health and Google Fit. How great is that!

There should be no interruption in service but participants will want to follow the directions below as soon as they can.  Even if you do not use Apple Health or Google Fit, you will still want to update to version 4.0.0.

Android Users: 

1. Update the Motion Connected app in the Google Play store.  Tap on the three lines in the top left > my apps & games > under updates, install app updates.

2. Delete the MC Link app (only for Google Fit users).

Apple Users:

1. Download the Motion Connected version 4.0.0 app from the App Store.

2. Delete both MC Link (only Apple Watch/Apple Health users) and the old version Motion Connected app. If steps are tracked with Garmin or Fitbit, simply log in to the new app to verify the device connection and they are all set!

Setting up Motion Connected Version 4.0.0

Step 1

Once the version 4.0.0 is downloaded (or updated), linking to Apple Health or Google Fit will need to be toggled on.  This is easily done through the settings page in the app. 

Step 2

Depending on the phone, Link Apple Health or Link Google Fit will need to be toggled on. 

Step 3

Once that toggle is on, tap on the Apple Health or Google Fit page (found in menu options) and the data will populate after hitting the refresh circle.
